"Pugwall Summer" is the sequel to the first "Pugwall" series and shall follow the adventures of Pugwall and his friends from the conclusion of the last episode.

The "Orange Organics", whilst winning the Sakimoto Talent Award by default, have not faired well in Japan, finishing well down in the band placings. Their disapointment is soothed by Supes and Hero, as they reminisce about their visit to Japan. However, the group's disapointment only serves to strengthen their resolution to suceed against all odds with their music. It is against this background that the new series begins.

The adventures of the group and the musical content are the program's main ingredient. Incidents such as when Bazza's younger brother is given an old wartime grenade and Pugwall manages to take it from him, the situation is only worsened by Supes confiscating the item and assigning it to the incinerator - with dramatic results. The group in an effort to win summer jobs playing at a surf carnival, go to no end of trouble to achieve their goal including a disastrous attempt ay hair dying. With summer holidays approaching, our friends fearless band draw a list of aims for the forthcoming summer break, which includes such things as earning money, seeking revenge and harrassment to their teachers and to improve their musical talents, etc.

The program is full of the fun and adventures associated with the first series, including the influence of Uncle Harry and Aunt Annabel within the family circle.

One by one, the group achieves their aims with a great deal of action located within the home, the neighbourhood and the beach.
